Hobson Farming is proud to announce that we will be hosting the British Carrot Growers Association Demonstration Day on Thursday 1st October 2026 in the World Ploughing Match Field, at Crockey Hill.
There will be extensive carrot variety trial plots of all major and upcoming carrot varieties. A great opportunity to compare characteristics ranging from root colour, shape and length to potential yields and disease resistance.
In addition, there will be trade exhibition stands showcasing agri-tech innovations and machinery including optical colour sorters, laser weeders, autonomous farming robots and precision seed drills.
The event will bring together customers, growers, agronomists and agricultural suppliers for a full day of networking and industry knowledge exchange.
Furthermore, it will be a great lead into British Carrot Day, which is on Saturday 3rd October 2026
